It’s been over a decade since the original Luigi’s Mansion brought ghost-filled fun to the GameCube, and since then many Nintendo fans have requested a sequel to this quirky adventure game starring Mario’s timid twin.
During last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto discussed some of the new features that fans can look forward to in Luigi’s Mansion 2. From a ghostly dog that can’t resist golden items to a variety of new add-ons for Luigi’s trusty Poltergust – the game appears to be brimming with creative ideas and innovative gameplay mechanics.
Over to Mr. Miyamoto:
Luigi’s Mansion 2 will be released exclusively for 3DS on March 24th in the US and March 28th in European territories. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this highly anticipated sequel.
