El33t’s Pre-W33kend Post: The calm before the stormWritten by: / / No Comments
We’re almost to the finish line for this week and in only a few hours (give or take) the promise of the weekend will come to fruition as Friday evening melts into a two-day streak of Saturday and Sunday. While the weekend usually blurs by, if we plan ahead we’re generally able to feel productive while scheduling time for relaxation, too.
What are your plans for this weekend? Do you have your sights set on any games in particular? Give those queries a think while reading over what a few members of El33tonline will be up to over the next two days:
“This weekend I plan to have a quiet two days at home and catch up on some of the things I didn’t get to during the week. I’ll be working on my FIFA 13 Wii U review tomorrow morning and would love to play some more Ni no Kuni, Sleeping Dogs and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask once that’s out of the way.
I’ll also be keeping a close eye on my Twitter feed this weekend in case there are any leaks before the big PlayStation 4 reveal next week!”
“With a busy week behind me and a just-as-busy week ahead, it’s time for a bit of relaxation, but there’ll still be some important things to be done that will feed into some developments that we’ll be sharing with everyone in due time.
I’ll also be celebrating my Dad’s landmark birthday with my family tomorrow and I hope to play a few games, too. PlayStation Plus has been very generous so I’ve got an enormous catalogue of titles to peek at…
Have a great weekend everybody!”
“The past week has been a flurry of exciting activity at El33t HQ. The industry seems to have gone into overdrive with new trailers and screenshots about upcoming games being released non-stop and rumours of release dates and next-gen consoles dominating headlines. To top off the craziness we also brought you guys and gals new competitions and reviews, which we loved every second sharing with you and hope you enjoyed.
In between the busyness I managed to start my second playthrough of Dead Space 3, this time in co-op mode with Oliver, and that has been incredibly scary fun. As I ready myself for next week’s release of Crysis 3 and then the launch of Tomb Raider the week after that, I’m taking a breather and heading away for the weekend. Some relaxation in the sun is just what the Dr ordered before the next wave of gaming engulfs us. A few boardgames are definitely being packed though, it’s time to whip open a couple that I bought in Cologne last year.
Have an awesome weekend everyone. Be safe and happy gaming, wherever you are!”
