Ultimate X 2013 takes place this weekend at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, and to give gamers something to pique their interest outside of the myriad activities available at the annual event, Glenn Alexander and his team at 4 elements Gaming Festivals will be bringing a mega challenge with a mega gaming setup.
Are you an Ultimate Gamer?
Together with Xbox 360 South Africa and Mountain Dew, 4 elements Gaming Festivals will be daring Ultimate X 2013 attendees to compete in the Ultimate Gamer Challenge, which will test your gaming skills across games in five different genres on a total of sixteen Xbox 360s.
The challenge takes place on February 16th, this Saturday, from 10am at the V&A Waterfront canal in Cape Town. Are you good at racing and sports games? Shooters and fighters? What about more casual titles?
You’ll need to show your skill in each of these genres to rise above the competition and be deemed the The Mountain Dew Ultimate Gamer 2013! Across these genres, you’ll be playing titles in multiplayer, singleplayer and more personal 1-on-1 challenges to make your way into the top sixteen participants.
All of This and Much More!
Best of all, entry to the Ultimate Gamer challenge is free, which includes access to “the most intense action and extreme sports in South Africa featuring FMX Freestyle, BMX, Skateboarding and Wakeboarding competitions.”
Do you think you’re up to the challenge? If you’re over 16 years old, don’t hesitate to register for the event at the official sign-up page over here, and then don’t forget to pick up your Ultimate Gamer accreditation at the V&A Waterfront on February 15th (tomorrow) from 14h00.
