Tomb Raider from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics is almost upon us and the team is doing its part in keeping excitement high for the next adventures of Lara Croft.
After spreading the news of an incredible Lara Croft cosplay effort effort, showing off with a picture of the very first copy of Tomb Raider off of the production line, and dropping our jaws thanks to a lengthy gameplay video showcasing some high action hijinks, we’ve been given another behind-the-scenes look at the making of Tomb Raider in the penultimate entry to the game’s ‘Final Hours’ video series.
See actor and series host Zachary Levi rolling up his sleeves (literally!) and taking a deep dive into the Crystal Dynamics studio, while speaking to various developers crunching to make Tomb Raider a reality by hitting the team’s certification date to launch in time!
In the video, you’ll hear a variety of personalities discuss broad and in-depth paths to finishing a game as they pull all of the threads together at the last minute. It’s a fascinating dissection of game development reality.
