Were the enemies of the original Dragon’s Dogma not good enough for you? Were the ghouls, demons and fire-breathing lizards of Capcom’s original action RPG not quite challenging enough?
If you answered ‘yes,’ then you may very well be lying but no matter, because that game’s follow-up will be adding a new menagerie of towering behemoths, gross creatures, gruesome beasts and dastardly foes when it’s out in April.
The latest gameplay trailer for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen showcases just some of the new enemies you’ll be facing in the standalone expansion to Dragon’s Dogma, and they all look wonderfully horrific! Here are some details (and warnings) on those new enemies, straight from Capcom:
“Beware of the aptly named Death and his trademark scythe, one hit from which will send the Arisen to his grave; be ready to dodge the Eliminator’s mighty hammer or extinguish the Pyre Saurian’s fiery attacks and be prepared to take on the rest of the enemies that inhabit this blighted realm.
“Oh, and don’t forget to watch out for Maneaters hidden in chests!”
