SEGA’s Aliens: Colonial Marines launches across the world tomorrow, February 12th, and the publisher intends to support the title with four downloadable content add-ons.
Developer Gearbox is currently working on the add-ons, which are said to span new campaign and multiplayer content. The first add-on will be available in March, while the remaining three are scheduled to be available by the end of August.
The first add-on is titled Bug Hunt – it’s a new co-operative multiplayer mode where players are tasked with taking on waves of increasingly difficult enemies across three new maps. These maps will be based on environments taken from the ALIENS film.
You’ll be able to purchase the add-ons individually, but they’ll also be part of the Seasons Pass bundle which will retail at $29.99 or 2400 Microsoft Points and offers a 40% saving. The Season Pass is already available on Steam and will arrive on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network soon.
Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC February 14th. Check back tomorrow for El33tonline’s review of the game.
