Nothing could have prepared Ubisoft for the onslaught of vitriol it has received from Wii U fans since the news broke last week that Rayman Legends is no longer exclusive to Nintendo’s system and will only be released in September – seven months later than previously anticipated.
Ubisoft has responded to this outcry by announcing via its Facebook page that a new, exclusive demo will be released on the Wii U eShop “soon”.
This will be the second Wii U demo released for Rayman Legends, following the sample we received in December which contained three levels from the game.
Rayman Legends will now be released for Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 in “early” September. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this promising platformer.
