
Review aggregate website Metacritic has released its Game Publisher Rankings for 2012 for both major and mid-size publishers. EA beat out Microsoft to take top place in the former category, while Take-Two Interactive edged ahead of Telltale Games on the mid-size publisher rankings.
The figures you see below are based on each publisher’s average Metascore across all its games released during 2012. However, the publisher’s rank is affected by a number of factors including what percentage of ‘great’, ‘good’ and ‘bad’ games (based on Metascore) it released during the year.
