Scribblenauts Unlimited for Wii U and 3DS receives delay in the 11th hourWritten by: / / No Comments
Even though the games were due for release this Friday in Europe and South Africa, Scribblenauts Unlimited for both the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS have received a last minute release delay.
Warner Bros Interactive sent out the following statement regarding the revision of the game’s launch date:
“We are sorry to announce that Scribblenauts Unlimited, a game developed by Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell and published by Nintendo of Europe for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, will be delayed in Europe.
“It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon.”
Stranger and Stranger…
But why exactly are the games being delayed? Here’s the official answer:
“Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell are implementing some necessary tweaks within the game. They are working hard to make these changes as quickly as possible and we are sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused.
“Further announcements for the European launch of these games will be made soon.”
The delay is made even more bizarre by the fact that Scribblenauts Unlimited is already available in North America for the Wii U and 3DS, so it’s possible that Warner Bros. Interactive happened upon a problem specific to the region at the last minute.
No revised release date for the pair of games was announced, but we’ll keep you in the loop.
