The studio recently released a new developer diary for upcoming PS3 exclusive God of War: Ascension that explores the creation process behind a new enemy featured in the singleplayer campaign. The Manticore is a creature taken from Persian mythology that traditionally has the face of a man, the body of a lion and the tail of a scorpion or dragon.
