Once prolific developer Rare has lost another long-serving employee following George Andreas’ departure to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe earlier this month.
Andreas fills the Creative Director position at SCEE, and works out of the company’s London headquarters.
He served Rare for sixteen years, having worked on most of the studio’s renowned titles including GoldenEye 007, Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Pi??ata. Following the company’s purchase by Microsoft in 2002, Andreas was involved with the development of the Kinect hardware along with motion-controlled games such as Kinect Sports and Kinect Sports: Season 2.
