New Killzone: Mercenary details surface in Polish magazineWritten by: / / No Comments
Killzone: Mercenary is one of the most anticipated PS Vita titles of 2013 but Sony hasn’t served up many details about the project since unveiling it at gamescom 2012.
Although new information about the Guerrilla Cambridge developed first-person shooter is expected to hit the PlayStation Blog sometime this week, the latest edition of Polish magazine PSX Extreme recently served up some tasty titbits regarding this upcoming PS Vita exclusive.
According to the publication, Killzone: Mercenary uses a near-identical engine to Killzone 3 that has been tweaked to accommodate the PS Vita’s touch and tilt functionality. The game reportedly looks better than Uncharted: Golden Abyss and features crisp textures and long draw distances while still managing to maintain a stable frame rate in the heat of battle. The character models and animation are also very impressive, claims the magazine.
We’ll hopefully have more Killzone: Mercenary news to share with you in the near future, including details pertaining to the game’s story and gameplay features.
