Earlier this month we brought you news that Microsoft and developer Crystal Dynamics had worked together to design and create a limited edition Tomb Raider Xbox 360 controller.
The Tomb Raider wireless controller features a two-layer colour finish with laser etching to create a “realistic and tactile worn appearance.” The controller was inspired by “Lara’s iconic climbing axe and the tourniquets that result from the adventure in her intense origin story, as told in this latest title.”
The controller features the adjustable d-pad functionality, is available for $59.99 in the US and £39.99 in the UK, and includes a download code to redeem an exclusive playable Tomb Raider character in the game.
Xbox UK has revealed three previous designs for the Tomb Raider controller that were ultimately rejected in favour of the one you see above.
Let us know what you think about the other three versions in the comments section below.
Tomb Raider is out on March 5th, and if you need to know more about this exciting action adventure title don’t miss El33tonline’s previous coverage of the game.
