El33t’s Question of the Day: What was your first ever multiplayer game?Written by: / / No Comments
With the launch of the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta today, the chance to share the fear with a friend next week in Dead Space 3 and the release of the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map pack today, a Question of the Day comes to mind amidst all of this online revelry:
What was your first ever multiplayer game?
What was the very first multiplayer game you ever played with a friend or family member? Was it split-screen (or even same screen) on a PC or console? Online multiplayer? Co-operative?
My first multiplayer game was probably DOOM I or II back in the mid-90s, which lead to Quake, Quake II, Half-Life and more… but if I think even further back, it was probably Tank with my brother on the Atari 2600, which then lead to Mario and other S/NES and Mega-Drive games of the day.
What was the first game you played that allowed you to share the experience with someone else?
