It’s been a long time since a JRPG for PS3 has had as much buzz surrounding it as Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has managed to generate over the past few weeks. This collaboration between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli has taken over a year to reach our shores from Japan, but thankfully the wait appears to have been well worth it.
Namco Bandai has taken over the publishing reigns from Level-5 for the game’s Western release, and recently put out another trailer for Ni no Kuni showcasing exploration and combat gameplay in an early environment called Golden Grove which is renowned for its verdant fruit trees and fairy population. Unfortunately the spring supplying life to the “Forest of Plenty” has dried up and Oliver is tasked with finding a way to restore it to its natural state.
