Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima recently revealed that the series’ cyborg ninja Gray Fox (a.k.a. Frank Jaeger) would have been his first choice for the protagonist of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Gray Fox featured prominently in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and Metal Gear Solid, and is one of the most popular characters from the franchise despite his absence from MGS2, MGS3 and MGS4.
Now Konami has announced that every copy of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance sold in European territories will come with a free DLC code for the Cyborg Ninja skin, allowing fans to play through the game as Gray Fox as well as use and upgrade his FOX Blade featured in the original Metal Gear Solid.
US gamers can obtain this Gray Fox DLC by pre-ordering MGR: Revengeance from GameStop.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 19th in the US and February 21st in European territories.
