If you’re a fan of action titles (especially those developed by Platinum Games) then it’s pretty much a given that you’re looking forward to the release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance next month. The more pressing matter at hand is whether or not you’re willing to fork over $150 for the limited edition version of the game, the contents of which were recently depicted in the LE’s final pack shot.
The US limited edition is available to pre-order from multiple outlets and comes in a fairly large box containing a copy of the game for your platform of choice, a nifty-looking plasma lamp encapsulating a replica of Raiden’s high frequency katana, a steelbook collector’s case, as well as the game’s official soundtrack.
This package differs significantly from MGR: Revengeance’s European limited edition which includes a 30cm Raiden White Armour figurine from the Play Arts KAI series.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 19th in the US and February 21st in European territories.
