Last week I put together the first-person shooter edition of Guess the Game and some of you got the games right, but some not so much. Quite a few of you remembered the first game in the list. Here are the answers for last week:

This week’s theme is sidescrollers and platform games and today I was helped by Mathew (aka Smuroh) and he suggested two games he wanted to see if you can remember. Can you guess the names? Well here they are:

Game 1:

This was the first platform game I played on the original PlayStation. It was so much fun and it would be a cool game if they had to ‘remake’ it into HD.

Game 2:

If you know me you would know this game and I’m still a huge fan. This game got me started with sidescrollers. Just thinking about it makes me happy. This needs to be added to Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Game 3:

Now this game was epic. I remember playing this for hours. it even had its own level creator and my dad and I made levels to challenge each other. Brings back good memories doesn’t it?

Game 4:

Smuroh Says: I recently watched Skyfall and was blown away by how good the story was so I decided to choose a game that reminds me of James Bond. This game gave me and my Aunt hours of good fun.

Game 5:

Smuroh Says: Giving that El33tonline had a post about movie to game renditions, I thought I would suggest one that I thought was pretty amazing and it’s a story that has stood the test of time. This game had two modes: Top-down for adventure and then a battle mode for one-on-one duels.
