Last week I challenged you to guess five titles that I played or wanted to play during my formative years.
All five games had been named by the end of the day so well done to the community!
- Game 1: Flightmare (DOS) – 1984
- Game 2: Hugo’s House of Horrors (DOS/Windows) – 1990
- Game 3: Resident Evil Zero (GameCube/Wii) – 2002
- Game 4: In Cold Blood (PSone/Windows) – 2000
- Game 5: Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (GameCube) – 2003
Today’s line-up features an eclectic mix of titles I played during a fifteen-year period from about 1990 to 2005 on five different platforms.
Here they are:
This title offered a pure gameplay experience that hinged on a simple yet effective concept. Needless to say, it was incredibly addictive!
This game did a lot of interesting things at the time which revolved around “breaking the fourth wall”.
This game had simple controls but was a lot of fun once you got into it. Getting your bombs to land on the intended target was always a great feeling!
The size of this image should give you an idea of what platform it appeared on. I know it’s not much to go on but a gameplay screenshot would have instantly given it away…
I’m not usually a fan of strategy games but this one managed to sink its claws into me and I ended up whiling away countless hours trying to complete all the missions on offer.
Can you guess all the games? Have you played any of them? Happy gaming and good luck.
