Dead or Alive 5+ dated for March, new features announcedWritten by: / / No Comments
We haven’t heard much about the PS Vita port of Dead or Alive 5 over the last couple of months, but Tecmo Koei has now broken the silence by announcing the game’s release date and outlining some of the features fans can look forward to in the handheld version.
The game will be released on March 19th in the US and on March 22nd in European territories. DoA5+ will run at a smooth 60fps on the PS Vita and support Cross-Play, Cross-Save and Cross-Buy for DLC items. What all this jargon essentially boils down to is that you can play against PS3 players over the PlayStation Network (with an icon next to the players’ health bars indicating which system they’re using), share your save file between the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game, and you only need to pay once for DoA5 DLC to access the content across both platforms.
Additionally, DoA5+ will allow you to fight your opponent using touch-based attacks, and you can also hold the PS Vita vertically to fight them from a first-person perspective.
The following three features will also be included in the game:
- Hone the skills needed to come out on top in a variety of different fight scenarios.
Move Details Plus
- Three times the details for each move in real-time. Unbelievably detailed information like delay interval frames, move reach and more. A game-changing feature for serious players!
- Choose your favorite music to set the tone for each fight.
