The 3DS has been dominating the Japanese gaming landscape for a while now, recently reaching the impressive milestone of 10 million units sold in the territory. Monster Hunter 4’s release later this year is sure to further extend the handheld’s lead over its competitors and bring in plenty of cash for both Capcom and Nintendo thanks to the game’s 3DS exclusivity.

Monster Hunter 4 is currently scheduled for a summer 2013 release in Japan, and Capcom has yet to confirm when it will be available in Western territories.
