Nintendo has been extremely quiet about the much-anticipated return to Luigi’s haunted mansion in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for 3DS, but with the release of updated box art and a few pieces of CG artwork, that launch window has been narrowed down.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is now due for release in March in Europe, exclusively for 3DS, following on from the excellent original game in the series, Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube.
We first heard about the game at E3 2011 when it was still known as Luigi’s Mansion 2, and back then we were promised a return of the mansion and its ghosts in full 3D, but this time instead of stunning ghosts by simply creeping through the house and shining a light on the ghoul, you’ll need to activate a strobe function and release it in order to capture the spook with your Poltergust device.
New sets of artwork for Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon were recently released alongside the game’s updated box art, all of which you can enjoy below as you wait for the game’s arrival in March:
