Some call him baas, others call him Olt, but for everyone here at El33tonline we just call him OL.

Oltman started working here at El33tonline in October 2009. We got to know Oltman when he won a competition on the site and sent us a really awesome email saying thanks for the prize. It was obvious that he had a real passion for videogames, and we thought to ourselves ‘now that’s somebody we’d like on our team!’

We had never met Oltman before, but once we had he soon became an integral part of the team, always eager to jump in and help wherever he could and, most importantly, he’d do it with a smile on his face. Over the past three years he’s become so much more than just a member of the team, he’s become a true friend to all of us.

In addition to keeping us all entertained with ‘Guess the Game’ and ‘Fr33bie Fridays’, he’s helped out at the El33t stand at rAge two years in a row, lugged heavy speakers to DBNGamers for us time and again, and taught us how to play Dutch Blitz. In other words he’s gone above and beyond to help each of us here at El33t.

Of course he’s also been a huge help on the review front, diving in head first to devour as many titles as he could in his spare time. He’s reviewed an incredible 183 games since he joined our team in October 2009, an impressive feat for any journalist. He’s also become something of a Sims 3 expert round these parts, reviewing a whopping 18 Sims 3 titles during the past three years!

So it’s with a sad heart that we say goodbye to Oltman for now, it’s because of his awesome reviewing skills, quick wit, and friendly smile that we’ll miss having him on the team. Thanks for your contribution to El33t, OL. Each of the team helps to grow El33tonline in different ways, and we’re so happy that you’ve been able to be a part of this journey with us. We wish you and Mary-Anne everything of the best for the coming years, and we look forward to seeing little Quinn grow into a beautiful gamer.

Next time you see Oltman, remember that there’s nothing that he loves more than a manly pink milkshake, and give him a pat on the back for being an awesome El33t p33p.
