If you missed any of our updates feel free to flip back through the news later. But for now you can read about what the El33tonline team will be up to this weekend and let us know what you’ll be doing in the comments section below.

“I’m getting my aircons fixed tomorrow – woohoooooo!

Borderlands 2, Gears of War 3 (if it arrives – come on Kalahari) and Rise of the Guardians with the kids.

Last weekend of school holidays so I shall be spending quite a lot of time with the kids as well. And keeping up with the cricket. Go Proteas!

Hope everyone has an awesome one.”

Ed: Looking forward to seeing you online for Gears of War Wednesday soon!

“It’s 49 weeks to go! (rounded down)

I can’t believe how fast time flies! It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas in 2012 and now it’s already 49 weeks to go! Holy cow!!!

This weekend will comprise Bryan waking up out of his December food coma, going to gym, and hopefully finishing off my multiplayer review of Chris Sawyer’s Locomotion.

Besides that? Not much else methinks…”

Ed: You are hereby dubbed the official time keeper of El33tonline! Just don’t scare us with countdown’s to E3 already please.

“It’s raining in Durban today and there is some big politically rally stuff happening, so it’s gaming all the way for me.

When I can I’m going to try to pry the controller from Ed’s hands so I can play more Devil May Cry. It is really awesome to play other than suffering from severe hand cramps pulling off all the epic combat moves.

Next week the new Borderlands 2 DLC arrives on Tuesday, so I really need to spend some time finishing up some of my current DLC missions and level up my Gunzerker so he is well prepared for the new challenge. Pandora I miss you!

Wishing you all a rainy weekend wherever you are!”

Ed: Ha, just you try young man! I have a date with Dante tonight

“I’ll be awash in lush audio while raining down anarchy this weekend as I test out a few impressive looking Razer products, and also I’ll be dipping into some PC-exclusive gaming for the first time in a while to put a very special device through its paces. It’s come all the way from The East for El33tonline to test out, so I’m hoping this little monster is equal to the jaw-dropping packaging.

I hope you all have a great weekend while relaxing with friends and family after the first long week back in regular society.

What is everyone playing this weekend?”

Ed: I thought I might find something more sinister in that packaging, especially after my time spent with Hitman!

“This weekend I’ve got some awesome games for the Wii U and 3DS lined up including New Super Mario Bros. U and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, so I don’t think there will be too much time to get bored. I’ll also be working on my Assassin’s Creed III Wii U review, and have a supposedly excellent documentary called Searching for Sugar Man to watch over the break.

In addition there’s test match cricket to watch, loved ones to spend time with, and a rather unfit body to exercise so here’s hoping that there’s enough time to fit everything in!

Have an epic weekend p33ps!”

Ed: Looking forward to kicking off our Wii U reviews for this year, can’t wait to share those with you all soon.

“I’m afflicted with the opinion that when it’s sunny I must make the most of it and spend time outside. With that being said, I can’t say that I’m unhappy about the rain for it gives me the perfect opportunity to curl up on my couch and dig into a few great games this weekend.

Dante has kept me entranced in his latest adventure, and first order of business will be to finish Devil May Cry and bring you the review next week. I also want to continue my journey with Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U, and possibly spend a bit more trying to survive in ZombiU (another review to look out for next week).

Last but certainly not least, there’s some looting to do in Pandora. With the new DLC arriving on Tuesday it’s time my crew got back together and started preparing to take on the new tasks.”

“I’m attending a funeral on Saturday morning, but otherwise my weekend is quite empty and with this cold, rainy weather I’m sure I’ll get quite a bit gaming in.

Sonic All Stars Transformed Racing (just an approximation of the name I’m sure) will be played on the Wii U. I’m also trying to finish Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney on my 3DS. Meanwhile, Oliver’s great Anarchy Reigns post just got me pumped to try some crazy melee Japanese beat-em-up action.”

Ed: Sorry to hear about the funeral Pete, our thoughts will be with you.
