SEGA has released the launch trailer for Anarchy Reigns, the online beat ‘em up from Platinum Games.

Described as an “addictive hyperactive fighting title,” you’ll get a glimpse of the characters and multiplayer modes available in the game in the launch trailer below.

“We are excited to see the game reaching the Western audience,” said Atsushi Inaba, Executive Director/Producer at PlatinumGames.

“Anarchy Reigns is an ambitious project for PlatinumGames, as we wanted to challenge ourselves by creating a new genre, Multiplayer Brawling. You could play the game as a one-on-one fighter, but Anarchy Reigns truly comes alive when multiplayer characters are locked in chaotic battles. We look forward to global anarchy online once everyone gets a hold of the game.”

Anarchy Reigns is already available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America and Japan. It will be released in Australia January 10th and in Europe January 11th.

Remember that if you pick up the Day One Edition, which will be available for a limited time only, you’ll get two extra multiplayer modes and you’ll unlock Bayonetta for both the multiplayer and singleplayer modes.
