2012 played host to the release of a number of impressive fighting games, all forming together to create a very strong phalanx (if you will) of head-to-head fighters.
Dead or Alive 5 turned out to be one of the very best fighters of 2012 (and perhaps even the very best of the series), and thanks to the release of downloadable content and patches from developer Team Ninja, it seems to be one of the best supported, too.
Patch 1.03 for Dead or Alive 5 is set to add a cool new feature to the game, allowing you to record a match and then upload a video of that fight directly to Facebook and YouTube. Well, that’s for the PlayStation 3 version of the game, because the Xbox 360 version of Dead or Alive 5 will only allow for Facebook uploads.
While other fixes and tweaks are also to be expected in the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 patch, publisher Tecmo Koei uploaded the following test video to demonstrate the match record/upload functionality:

Which of 2012’s fighters are you still playing, and intend to play well into 2013?
