Details are still very thin on the ground at the moment, but reports doing the rounds indicate that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 players can expect their first taste of downloadable content for the game in late January.
Supposedly called ‘Revolution,’ the very first five-part map pack for Black Ops 2 is due for release on January 29th, according to unconfirmed reports, and will include four new multiplayer maps, a single new zombie mode map and an additional weapon, the Peacekeeper SMG. One of the new maps is reportedly set in a skate park – make of that what you will.
The DLC was outed with the discovery of a GameStop pre-order card which entitled gamers to this Xbox LIVE timed-exclusive content, which will arrive for holders of the Black Ops 2 Season Pass first.
We’ll let you know when Activision and Treyarch confirm the DLC, but we’ve included an image of the artwork for the content below, most likely snapped at GameStop.
