The environments created for the God of War series of action adventure games have always been larger-than-life and saturated in epic fantasy lore and incredible detail.

Whatever your misgivings about the franchise and the inclusion of competitive multiplayer in 2013’s God of War: Ascension, there’s no denying that the game will feature a world just as rich and astounding as those found in the previous adventures of Kratos… if these recently-released pieces of concept art are anything to go by, at least.
