We got a great new look at Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII at the end of 2012 with a trailer showcasing the game’s fighting sequences and Assassin’s Creed-like platform sections, while simultaneously revealing a new costume change for chief protagonist, Lightning.

That’s the old stuff, though, because Square Enix has gone ahead and released an extended cut of that trailer, with a massive batch of screenshots for some freeze-frame appreciation, too:
