Dead Space 3 is only due out in February this year, but anyone looking to get a taste of the solo and co-operative action horror epic will be able to do so one month before launch with an upcoming demo.
The Dead Space 3 demo will be unleashed on January 15th for Xbox 360 owners who sign up for the early taster at the game’s official website over here, but if you’re not willing to go through that rigmarole you can wait until January 22nd (for North American PlayStation 3 owners and Xbox 360 gamers) and January 23rd (for European PlayStation 3 owners)
“In the demo,” writes EA in an error-ridden press release, “players will be thrust into deep space terror when unwilling hero – Isaac Clarke- and all-new co-op companion – Sergeant John Carver – crash land on Tau Volantis, an unforgiving ice planet teeming with Necromorphs.”
Looking forward to it? You know we are!

When can you expect the game? Dead Space 3 is out on February 5th in the US and February 8th in Europe and the UK, across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
EA and Visceral have also released an excellent trailer to send us on a refresher course and remind us of the story of the series so far, how the dreaded Necromorph zombie-aliens came into the picture, and what protagonist Isaac Clarke is up to leading to the events of Dead Space 3:
