Insomniac Games may be synonymous with the Ratchet & Clank and Resistance series but one of the developer’s most beloved franchises is Spyro the Dragon which helped to popularise 3D platformers during the PSone era.
The first three games in the series have been PSone Classics on the US PlayStation Store for some time but have never seen the light of day on the PS Store’s European variant until now. The PS Store team recently revealed that the Spyro the Dragon trilogy will be available this Wednesday, December 12th, and will be fully compatible with PS Vita, PSP and PS3. The games are all emulated versions of NTSC code so they will require 60Hz displays to play.
