CVG is reporting that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 players can expect a new patch for the game in the near future which is set to address a few oddities and potential exploit behaviour, while Activision has released a guide to improving online lag for consoles, too.
The first major issue to be addressed with the upcoming Black Ops 2 patch will be the return of the Theatre Mode, which was originally taken offline after it was discovered to have been able to play a part in a Prestige glitch. Naughty players…
The next title update will also make it slightly more difficult to call on the help of a UAV during multiplayer by raising the Scorestreak number requirement for the perk. There’s been no talk of the removal of Black Ops 2’s Emblems system, however, so players will have to go without creating their own recognisable tags for a little while longer.
Activision has also sent out word about ways that you might be able to improve online latency in multiplayer on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If you’re experiencing frustrating lag, then it’s worth a look.
Once official details and a release date for the upcoming Black Ops 2 title update are released, we’ll let you know.
