Sony Computer Entertainment Japan recently staged the PlayStation Awards 2012 where the best-selling and most publicly acclaimed games were honoured. Games released between November 1st 2011 and October 31st 2012 were eligible for nomination, with no titles managing to scoop a Platinum Prize (over one million units shipped) this year.
Resident Evil 6 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 appeared in a number of categories as did Persona 4 Golden. Journey also picked up two awards – more than any other game developed by a non-Japanese studio.
