There’s been a rash of rumours and speculation surrounding the contents of tomorrow’s latest and greatest Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim downloadable adventure, Dragonborn, but the add-on is due out in less than 24 hours so is there really much reason to spoil it?
Instead, we’re simply keen to remind you that the Dragonborn DLC is on the way, while an exciting message has appeared on the official Bethesda blog with talk of the future.
The blog post opened with the proclamation that Dragonborn is “one of our most ambitious add-ons ever and we’re excited for everyone to play it,” while finally revealing that Skyrim players on PlayStation 3 and PC will be able to get the content “early next year.”
The team then tooted its horn a little bit by reminding us how much content Bethesda has injected into Skyrim (“including free content updates, modding tools like the Creation Kit and the Skyrim Workshop, and our add-ons, Dawnguard and Hearthfire”), but ended off by saying:
“And we’re still not done – we look forward to sharing more Skyrim news next year!”
How much more content will Bethesda be able to release for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? And perhaps more importantly, when will the previous DLC be available for PS3 owners?
