Following on from the previous development efforts from British developer Splash Damage (Brink, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars), the team has today introduced its next multiplayer shooter which seems to be a PC exclusive title for the moment.
Let’s take a quick teaserly look at Dirty Bomb:
Dirty Bomb – Teaser Trailer
Dirty Bomb is being published by Warchest Games, a company co-founded by Splash Damage head Paul Wedgwood and Richard Jolly. Warchest aims to bring “free, digitally-distributed games” to the masses by going beyond “the traditional boxed game business model and cut out things like manufacturing, physical distribution, retail partnerships and hit-weekend-driven marketing.”
“Instead, our games are about you, the player,” writes Warchest.
Will Dirty Bomb achieve the success Warchest needs to continue to thrive following the release of the cartoony turn-based strategy game, RAD Soldiers? We hope to find out more soon.
