Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for PS Vita delayed to January in USWritten by: / / No Comments
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is one of the upcoming cross-buy games for PS3 and PS Vita. Only one purchase nets you both versions of the game, which offers you cross-save and competitive cross-play support.
Full Frontal Assault for the PS3 will be available across North America on the PlayStation Store and at retail for $19.99 on November 27th. You’ll have to wait until January, however, to get the PS Vita version of the game now.
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, developer Tin Giant has been “working hard to bring Insomniac’s PS3 game to PS Vita and to ensure that your experience is packed with all the action and polish you’d expect from a Ratchet & Clank game.”
The delay is to ensure that you get “the best gameplay experience possible.” To compensate for the wait you’ll be able to get the first piece of downloadable content for the title, the Mini-Boss Skin Pack, when you buy the game for the PS3.
The skin pack, pictured below, features three boss characters from previous Ratchet & Clank games, including Chainblade from Going Commando and the Two-eyed Tyrhrranoid from Up Your Arsenal.
Known as Ratchet & Clank: QForce in Europe, the game has yet to be dated for this territory. Hopefully we’ll have word on a release date for Europe soon.
