PlayStation Mobile launched at the beginning of October, and the team has been working hard to bring titles to PlayStation-Certified smartphones and tablets since then.
This week the PlayStation Mobile Developer Program launched, and so we’ll see this library expanding in the coming months as it provides “an enhanced and open environment for content developers to create and release their content on PlayStation Mobile.”
In fact, the Dev Portal gives you everything you need to start working on PlayStation Mobile as a developer. According to Sony, it “lowers the barriers of entry for developers to create and publish titles including games directly to the most diehard and passionate fans in the industry.”
Through this online portal “developers can download the official version of the PlayStation Mobile SDK, sign the PlayStation license agreement, and pay just $99 (U.S.) to publish as many PlayStation Mobile titles as they want for one year.” You can register for the Dev Portal here.
