Black Ops 2 on PS3 gets patch for ‘system freezing,’ problems persistWritten by: / / No Comments
Ever since launch day, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PlayStation 3 has been experiencing a raft of issues, from reports of difficulties to connect to online matches, to in-game problems including complete game lock-ups.
Activision has since released a patch for this version of the game to ease these problems, but gamers are still reporting problems.
Eurogamer reports that the PS3 patch for Black Ops 2 went out recently, although despite the fix some users are still experiencing freezing issues when jumping into a public multiplayer lobby.
In response, Activision has said that it and Treyarch are doing “everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible.”
Hopefully sooner rather than later – after serving Black Ops 2 up to customers to the tune of $500 million in 24 hours alone, we would certainly hope that Activision is keen to keep those customers happy with their purchases.
