Last week Friday we had a small Twist to Battlefield Friday, due to some of the soldiers (including myself) taking part in a huge South African Halo 4 tournament. There were some technical issues with the tournament and it was delayed by an hour, but when my match happened and it was over I said my goodbyes and jumped into Battlefield 3.

After playing Halo 4 the whole week, I was pretty rusty in Battlefield 3, but then I got back into things and I was joined by GunnerJunkie and RowanatorZA for some Close Quarters action – then there were only two of us left and we moved on over to some Gun Master. A mode that you either Love it or Hate it. I personally love this mode, it gives one a good challenge.

We had some good and some bad matches in Gun Master, and we were convinced the guys were using a keyboard and mouse on their Xbox’s because they killed us easier than we killed them. It was all good fun, though, and we chatted about our history of gaming and GunnerJunkie did a couple of rage quits – not planned mind you, his connection kept dropping!

I really enjoyed my time in Battlefield Friday, so I hope to see you all this Friday! I’m hoping my Round 2 match in the Halo 4 Tournament is early, so I can get more BF3 action in.
