Sony Computer Entertainment has released some impressive statistics detailing lifetime sales for the PS3 and PlayStation Move, along with the number of games sold during the console’s six years on the market.

Since launching in November 2006 the PS3 has racked up sales of over 70 million units worldwide, with the console reaching this milestone on November 4th. Over 3 590 games have been published for PS3 to date, resulting in combined sales of over 595 million copies.

The PlayStation Move motion controller has also fared well since it launched in September 2010, selling more than 15 million units worldwide over the past two years.
