The latest Media Create software chart sees the highly anticipated 3DS title Animal Crossing: New Leaf rack up sales of 603 064 copies during its opening week. This massive number completely eclipsed the sales figures of Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires and Halo 4 which occupied second and third spot respectively.
The Japanese version of Silent Hill: Downpour only managed seventh spot with 13 516 copies sold – perhaps due to it being released some time after its Western counterpart.
