Now this is more like it!

I don’t mean to harp on the subject of Insomniac’s Overstrike VS Insomniac’s Fuse, but it does happen from time to time. It feels as though there was something lost to gamers when the studio flipped some kind of design track switch and careened down a different path for the game.

These new screenshots for Fuse, however, are doing a lot to pull me along this new clickety-clack track.

Insomniac recently launched a flashy (but not Flash, you understand) website for Fuse with all kinds of interactive elements and slick visuals, but the real feature of this redesign was the release of a new batch of Fuse screenshots, which you can look over below.

Combined with that impressive walkthrough gameplay video (hosted by Ted Price himself), I’m personally feeling a lot better about the prospects of Fuse being every bit as good as Insomniac’s previous games.
