According to an information page on Blizzard’s official Battle.net site, with details captured by Eurogamer Spain, the second set of StarCraft II adventures will be available in March 2013 when StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm finally makes its grand appearance on PC.
Eurogamer Spain and Eurogamer are reporting that Heart of the Swarm will launch on March 12th, 2013, while the option to net yourself a digital copy of both that game and the first series entry, Wings of Liberty, will be available for £44.99.
In addition, the page has revealed further details on the Digital Deluxe edition of Heart of the Swarm, which will include the following items:
- Three StarCraft II Swarm-themed Battle.net portraits
- StarCraft II Zerg Ultralisk “Torrasque” skin
- World of Warcraft Baneling Battle Pet
- Diablo III “Blade Wings” item – Queen of Blades-styled wings for Diablo III heroes
- Diablo III Zerg banner sigil
We’ve looked around Battle.net for the official details but came up empty, so we’re hoping Blizzard makes an official announcement about the launch date for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm very soon.
