The latest Media Create hardware chart paints a pretty picture for the 3DS and 3DS XL, and a grim one for the PS Vita. The 3DS duo once again ruled the roost with 93 989 units sold during the past week while PS Vita sales fell to yet another all-time low (4 842 units). 3DS XL sales received a boost due to the release of a black colour option and a limited edition Monster Hunter 3DS XL bundle featuring the new black model.
Combined console sales were 29 percent higher than the previous week’s total thanks to the success of the two 3DS models, although this tally of 141 073 units is still 55 percent less than the same period last year.
