Kyoto-based developer Q-Games made a name for itself with its popular PlayStation Network series PixelJunk. Now the studio is shifting its attention to PC and has revealed first details about a new entry in the PixelJunk series codenamed PixelJunk 1-6.
According to the game’s official FAQ, PixelJunk 1-6 is being developed for PC with a Steam release in mind. The game will support co-op for at least four players and is being designed around gamepad controls. Only four people are currently working on PixelJunk 1-6 although this number may increase as production ramps up on the project.
Q-Games also stated that it might consider a console version if there’s enough demand for PixelJunk 1-6 following a successful release on Steam.
Be sure to visit the game’s official website from time to time as the developers have promised to give potential players an inside look at what goes into making a game and will also be taking fan feedback into account during the development process.
