Four extra difficulty levels revealed for Devil May Cry, plus new screens!Written by: / / No Comments
Capcom has revealed that DmC will include four special difficulty modes. This will be in addition to the standard three difficulty modes, that is Human, Devil Hunter and Nephilim.
The modes will be unlocked upon successive playthroughs of the game on successive difficulties, as has traditionally been the case for the series in the past.
The four new modes are Son of Sparda which features “remixed enemy layouts, tougher enemies and enemy behavior throughout” as well as Dante Must Die which mirrors the Son of Sparda mode but also “contains the strongest enemies and insane attack waves.”
You can also look forward to Heaven or Hell which is “another remixed mode, but everyone and everything, including Dante, dies after one hit” and Hell and Hell which is the same as Heaven or Hell but only Dante dies after one hit.
DmC will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 15th worldwide. Browse through El33tonline’s previous coverage for more screenshots, trailers and information about the game, as well as our hands-on preview, and check out the latest screenshots from the game below.
