The PS Vita is clearly an excellent platform for RPGs since its portability, processing power and online features allow engaging and great-looking games from this genre to be developed for the system.
Ragnarok Odyssey – releasing today in North America – is one of the first RPGs to hit the PS Vita in the West and promises to deliver the kind of co-op, action-orientated gameplay that made PSP titles such as Monster Hunter and God Eater so popular.
The game is based on the universe of the PC MMORPG Ragnarok Online containing many elements from Norse mythology, and supports local (i.e. Ad Hoc) or online multiplayer for up to four players.
