In April Konami vowed to issue a patch to fix Silent Hill: Downpour’s numerous bugs and frame rate issues.
The publisher has finally made good on that promise – for the Xbox 360 version at least. The game was recently patched on Xbox 360, with a PS3 patch due in the “coming weeks” according to Konami.
Here’s the list of improvements Silent Hill: Downpour owners can enjoy after downloading the patch:
-
Improved frame rate
-
Fixed save game system
-
Fixed bugs in “Homeless” side quest/mission
-
Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes
Konami also announced that the game will arrive on Xbox LIVE’s Games on Demand service on October 30th for $39.99.
Is this patch a case of too little too late or does its release make you more confident to invest hours of play time in Silent Hill: Downpour? Let us know in the comments.
