Ubisoft’s long-dormant Rayman series made a triumphant return with the release of Rayman Origins late last year. While that game appeared on a variety of platforms, its sequel Rayman Legends will be a Wii U exclusive which makes innovative use of the GamePad during asymmetric multiplayer sessions.
Ubisoft has released a batch of new media for Rayman Legends including gameplay footage from a level called Toad Story as well as some new screenshots. The video shows 4-player co-op with a fifth player controlling Rayman’s flying guide Murfy.

Rayman Legends is currently scheduled to be released during the first quarter of 2013.
