Dishonored to receive three DLC packs to further your adventures in DunwallWritten by: / / No Comments
Bethesda Softworks has today announced that, following the release of Arkane Studios’ excellent first-person stealth action adventure game, Dishonored, the developer is currently working on no less than three downloadable add-on packs for the game to pull you further into the murk of Dunwall City.
Due to release simultaneously across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC from December until 2013, these DLC packs run the gamut from extra challenges to full story-driven campaigns – let’s learn about the first add-on, Dunwall City Trials:
“Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials, being released in December, will include 10 challenge maps that will test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills. Ten distinct trials await challengers – including an arena battle against waves of enemy AI, a gravity-defying run of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock.
“Dunwall City Trials also features a whole new set of Achievements and Trophies as well as a global online leaderboard that will establish the greatest assassins for each challenge.”
Details on the second and third DLC packs for Dishonored are currently low on the ground, but promise to feature all-new stories set in the city of Dunwall.
What we do know is that the second pack will concern the activities of Daud, the leader of a group of supernatural assassins (like protagonist Corvo!) known as ‘The Whalers’ – this content is due out in the ‘Spring’ of 2013.
“Make your way through new Dunwall locales and discover Daud’s own set of weapons, powers and gadgets in this story-driven campaign,” writes Bethesda. “How you play and the choices you make will impact the final outcome:”
